It's all blue skies in Blue Rapids
It has been an exciting week at Blue Rapids Elementary. On Wednesday the student body attended a sneak peek of the high school play Wed Widing Hood at the Waterville Opera House. The students enjoyed the very professional production. I encourage everyone to attend the play this weekend and to support our local high school drama students. Parents, this Monday the 11th is the LAST day to contact the office and sign up for our annual Thanksgiving meal on Wednesday the 20th. Speaking of Monday, it is Veterans Day, we are THANKFUL for our veterans, be sure to thank a veteran for their service and sacrifice. Tonight is PLAYOFF football at the high school at 7 PM, be sure to come out and support the mighty Mustangs. Our Runner-Up State volleyball team will be recognized at halftime.

We’d like to remind families to discuss a safe route to school with your students. Whether it is on foot, bike, or a car we want everyone to arrive to and from school safely! For students on foot and bike remember that the safest crossings are at Chestnut & Highway 77 in Blue Rapids and Minnesota & Highway 77 in Waterville.
These crossings are monitored both before and after school.
