Students enrolled in 12th grade must do one of the following to graduate:

1. Complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
2. Complete and submit a Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA)
3. Submit a Skyward OPT-OUT form – if you would like to Opt-Out of completing the FAFSA or TASFA for your senior, you can complete the Opt-Out form in Skyward Family Access under Online forms. WITH PARENT PERMISSION, THE COUNSELOR CAN COMPLETE THE OPT-OUT FORM IN SKYWARD FOR YOU.

Submitting a financial aid application Skyward Opt-Out Form does NOT prohibit a student from completing and submitting a financial aid FAFSA application at any time in the future.

Lewisville ISD Education Foundation Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors to help them in their continued educational journey. Scholarships are awarded based on specific criteria established by donors. These criteria range from academic achievement and community involvement to success outside of academic ranking and career aspirations.

The 2024-2025 scholarship application will be open November 1, 2024 – January 10, 2025. All requested information must be received by LEF no later than 4:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. For any questions, email Sherah Robinson at robinsonsl@lisd.net

Seniors,

We will have representatives from UNT’s GO Center on our campus on Tuesday, January 14th (and Tuesday the 28th) from 10 am to 12 pm. They are here to help with any college questions, regardless of where you plan to apply to college. They are sending several representatives to our campus so this is a great opportunity to get your questions answered.

How? Just fill out the sign up form below no later than Tuesday morning January 14th by 8:00 am to let us know you would like to meet with a GO Center representative. We will send a pass to your class during your designated time.

Be sure you are checking college application deadlines. Don't wait until the last minute. Allow ample time for supporting documentation such as transcript, letters, etc. to be requested and processed. Check your colleges for specific dates and requirements.

If you aren't sure if you need a Counselor Recommendation Letter, check your email. Your counselor has most likely emailed you requesting this form to be filled out.

Checking Students Out of School Procedures:

Just a reminder that if anyone other than the parent or guardian listed in Skyward is picking up your student, we MUST have an email from you. The email needs to be sent to your student's attendance clerk, include your child's name and the name of the person picking up. *Please note that Emergency contacts are only used in an emergency, not for normal pick up.*
