Kindergarten Registration Now Open
Kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 school year is now open on the district's website. In addition, a presentation and tour is scheduled for both February 20 and February 27 from 5:30-6:30 pm for parents interested in hearing from the principal and getting a tour of the new building.
Fowlerville Elementary School, which houses the Kinder Academy as well as all Kindergarten through second grade classrooms, just opened to students on January 23. This brand-new, state-of-art facility provides an exceptional learning environment for our youngest learners.
If you need assistance with registration or are unable to attend either of the evening events, please reach out to the Fowlerville Elementary School office at 517.223.6008 for additional assistance or to schedule an appointment. Gladiators begin here!
Wrestling Team Captures League Title and Wins Wrestling Invite
The Gladiator wrestling team beat Mason on January 29 to become the CAAC Red champions for the first time since 2013. In addition, on Saturday, February 1, the team attended the CAAC Wrestling Invite, which included 21area teams. Both the boys and girls wrestling teams took first place, the only school to have both the boys and girls teams win in the same year.
Because of these performances, the team was named the WLNS Team of the Week. Today, February 5, the team heads to Mason to participate in the District Championship. Go Gladiators!
Fowlerville Elementary School Officially Opens
A couple of snow days delaying the official opening date of the new Fowlerville Elementary School certainly didn't damper the excitement for students as they entered the building for the first time on Thursday, January 23. The staff would like thank everyone who made the move and first week so memorable for all of the students. A special shout out of thanks goes to the custodial staff, transportation department, the National Junior Honor Society students and Munsell Enterprises for making the dismissal signs. In addition, we want to thank all district families for their patience as new arrival and dismissal procedures were rolled out. We know change can be hard, but we are grateful as you work with us to ensure the safety of all of our students.
Showing Support for Others
The district would like to thank the ladies of St. John Lutheran Church in Fowlerville for donating winter coats, hats, gloves and extra clothes for students in need. These donations will be put to good use in making sure our students stay warm and dry.
Our Natalie Kreeger Elementary students are hosting a coin war and candy gram sale February 10-14 to support C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. Students can collect loose change and add it to the change bucket or purchase a candy gram (.50 cents each) in support of students who are fighting illnesses.
Finally, the Fowlerville community also lost former student Caleb Shermoe in late January. Please keep Caleb's family in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn his loss.
