Partners’ participation to ITB-Berlin 2023
7-9 March 2023 / Messe Berlin
This year ITB Berlin was the international platform, where the HERiPRENEURSHIP experts and stakeholders presented some of the outputs of the UNESCO Heritage Corridor:
- The sixth pilot routes with the 60 geolocations of tangible and intangible heritage, listed in UNESCO across pilot territories in Greece, Bulgaria, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Georgia and Türkiye
- The online booking application with advanced search engines for places and related facilities
- Videos on demand offering new destinations
- Promotional travel kits with visualization links to the smart applications and pilot locations
During the event, the partners held constructive B2B meetings and discussions with tour operators, tourist enterprises and business representatives focusing on opportunities for potential collaborations through utilization of the ready – to be promoted HERiPRENEURSHIP resources.

HERiPRENEURSHIP: the UNESCO Experiential Heritage Corridor in the Black Sea Basin,
connects places to visit in the participating countries, offering authentic and multicultural knowledge together with accompanying tourist services available in real time, such as accommodation, transport, catering, souvenirs and traditional products, outdoor and indoor artistic activities, etc.
WHAT WAS DONE BY PARTNERS TILL NOW:
Online Booking Application
The online booking application is among the multi modal serve set produced as part of the UNESCO Experimental Heritage Corridor.
It has been developed as an advanced search engine aimed to develop exceptional experiences at the 60 locations of tangible and intangible heritage and to offer them into the global market.
The booking opportunities facilitate the potential product buyers to be more closely connected and to touch the impression and uniqueness of the pilot destinations.
Heritage Experience Inventory
The Heritage Experience Inventory is a unique tourism planning tool which exploits the power of story telling and its expansion to the general public. This tool has been developed as part of the UNESCO Experimental Heritage Corridor to testify the significance of the pilot locations as a joint management system of the heritage resources in tourism.
Tourism Roadmap in the Black Sea Basin
The Black Sea Roadmap for Tourism is a strategic document to support public institutions and undertakings to improve the regulatory framework in tourism management and operation.
At the same time it promoted the pilot tourist destinations providing a blue print for improving the dialogue between the stakeholders for renewed tourism agenda.
The Online Booking App., the Heritage Inventory and the Tourism Roadmap
are interlinked with the project web based educational and communicational platform www.heripreneurship.eu
Invitation to the Final International Conference
Dear Colleagues,
We are glad to announce the international conference on Cultural Heritage Entrepreneurship, Cultural and Heritage Tourism, Sustainable, Green and Responsible Tourism, Sustainable Heritage Management, Economics and Sociology, Cultural and Creative Industries, Heritage Interpretation and Communication, Archaeology, History, Ethnology in the Black Sea area will take place on June 8th-9th 2023 in Tulcea, Romania.
The aim of the International Conference “Sustainable Tourism, Heritage Management and the Cultural and Creative Industries: Creating new investment opportunities at places of cultural significance” is to overview trends in tourism, digital culture and heritage entrepreneurship as a driver for socio-economic development, gain a common attitude towards latest challenges in tourism heritage management, also under a climate change perspective, explore the powers of the Cultural and Creative Industries for Sustainable Tourism and develop links among academics, policy makers and practitioners who have common research agendas, disseminate research results from the HERiPRENEURSHIP project and other European projects and initiatives, stimulate new ideas and tools for digital culture, green and responsible tourism, heritage interpretation and cultural communication.
