Family Newsletter Mar. 2025 IMPACTing Each & Every Student!
Ms. Mercedes Message March 2025
Please take a moment to complete our family and community Educator Effectiveness Survey (EES). Currently, we have about 8% of our families who have participated. Our goal is 35% or more! Our leadership team uses survey results to continue what is working well and to enhance and create improvements schoolwide. Use the QR code to access the survey. The last day to participate is March 7th!!
Black History Month: Shiloh ES had an amazing month of activities to celebrate Black History. We shared poems, trivia, hallway decorations, and a Black History Museum experience for all students. Thank you one last time to Ms. Ford-Carter and the entire Black History Committee for all their planning and preparation. In addition, we want to thank Ms. Anderson, Ms. Allen, Ms. Wacker, and the Camp Success Academy students and staff for their wonderful performance at South Gwinnett HS.
Parent / Teacher Conferences: On March 5th and 6th, we will have Early Release days so that our teachers can connect with all of you! As always, our goal is to meet with all families for each child so that we can celebrate your child’s successes as well as collaborate regarding goals to help your student make continual progress. If you have not yet signed up for a Parent/Teacher conference, please contact your child’s teacher on Parent Square. We look forward to seeing you all next week.
The following message was shared via Parent Square from Gwinnett County Public Schools on 2/18. The iReady Literacy Screening scores and the Math and Reading Diagnostic results for students in Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade are now available in ParentVUE. You will find these reports within the documents tab. To learn more about ParentVue click HERE.
