Principal Update
Dear Rose Families,
As we wrap up this week, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible perseverance shown by our students and staff! This week reminded us all that growth happens when we embrace challenges and keep trying, even when things feel hard.
Perseverance is our character trait for January, and it’s such an important life skill. From staying focused during changing weather conditions to adjusting routines with flexibility, our students demonstrated the power of not giving up. Struggling with something new or difficult is how we grow, and this week was a powerful example of that growth in action.
As parents, one of the greatest gifts you can give your children is the opportunity to face challenges and work through them. Encouraging them to tackle hard things, even when it’s uncomfortable, helps them build the resilience and confidence they’ll need for future success.
A special highlight this week was the 4th-grade music program, which brought joy and inspiration to our school community. Moments like these remind us of the amazing things our students can achieve when they work hard and persevere.
Thank you for supporting your students at home and cheering them on as they navigate challenges. Together, we are helping them build perseverance, resilience, and a love of learning.
We are Stingray Strong!
Warm Regards,
Dr. Ruesch
