Mustang Bulletin
Summer 2023
Dear West Wing Parents and Community,
We hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer! We wanted to share upcoming dates and celebrate our PTSA accomplishments with our community.
We are already planning and preparing for the next school year. We will be resetting our school-wide expectations. We will specifically focus on respect, compassion, and integrity. More details about this will be shared at the beginning of the year with students and parents. We are excited to see the impact on our students. Our instructional focus will be on providing tiered instruction so that all of our students will master grade-level standards. This important work and collaboration happen each week when we have our 2:00 pm dismissal on Fridays. We will continue to provide engaging lessons and classroom activities to all of our students. We are also very excited to welcome our new preschool program this year.
We will have new shade structures installed in the next few weeks at both the Kindergarten and 1-8 drop-off zones. We are so excited about these as they have been needed for many years to protect our students and staff from the sun as they wait for pick-up. We recently installed new whiteboards on either side of our Viewsonic Monitors that replaced our outdated Smartboards. We are also getting two new classroom sets of furniture for our middle school classrooms. None of these campus improvements would have been possible without the fantastic efforts from our PTSA fundraising events this past year and the financial support of our parents and community.
Thank you for continuing to support our school!
Sincerely,
Shelly Schubert
Principal
Summer Math Challenge
We are looking forward to honoring all the students that participate in the 2nd Annual Summer Math Challenge! We hope that LOTS of students are continuing to improve their math skills over the summer!
Thank You For Your Support!

We hope that you stop by and visit our PTSA during Meet the Teacher Night in the mulitpurpose room from 4:30-5:15!
