Hello Ranger Families!

This week has been filled with learning and activities. Our 3rd graders went to Orting to plant trees near the river. We had Dental day and many students were able to participate. Thursday our wonderful PTA hosted a fun run for all students! Thank you for another great week. Enjoy your weekend!

Due to the ongoing shortage of officials, the WRHS Homecoming football game has been moved from Friday, October 18th to Thursday, October 17th. Game time will be 7:00 pm. The Homecoming parade will also move from Friday to Thursday, beginning at 5:00 pm through downtown Buckley.

It's not too late to order school pictures! Place your order before Tuesday, October 15th to receive your photos before picture retake day.

Every month the classroom with the highest percentage of students at school wins our "Star Attendance" award and gets to choose a spirit day for that month. September's winners were Mrs. Huffman's first grade class. They chose a Sports Spirit Day on Friday, October 25th. Feel free to wear your sports gear on that day, please no sports equipment(helmets, bats, balls, etc.).

Reminder ANNUAL STUDENT INFORMATION UPDATE is required to be completed by Friday, October 25th.

Each year, we ask parents and guardians to update their student(s) information. It is critical for communication from the district and buildings to have correct phone numbers, and emails. We are also asking you to update health information, housing information, and more.

Please take 5 minutes to complete the digital documents on Family Access to ensure accurate information. Please log on to Skyward Family Access (link to Skyward) and click on “2024-25 Annual Student Information Update”.

*Important* Please fill out the Health History form entirely. Even if your child has something as simple as "seasonal allergies" or "headaches' we need this information in order to assess them for illness. If you have no health concerns for your child at this time please mark the "No” for “Does your student have any health concerns”.

The White River Education Foundation supports White River students district wide. Some of the things they support are our Kindergarten field trip to Northwest Trek and our 5th grade field trip to JA Biz Town. Their annual fundraiser is coming up on November 2nd.
