Heather Martley - Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator
Beth Campanelli
Hi, my name is Beth! I am the Woonsocket Education Department Speech & Language Chairperson & LEA. I have been a part of the WED team for the past 24 years and I have spent my career working with the early childhood population. The WED Speech & Language Department provides services through the Itinerant Model Approach including direct services with students, collaborative meetings and professional development with staff and family both in the community and in our own WED preschool programs. In addition, we provide walk in services and multidisciplinary group sessions to those students who are not enrolled in a program. We feel as though preschool provides the foundation for growth and is the predictor of academic success. Communication is the currency of the classroom and interactions between children, parents and staff are essential for development. Please feel free to email me at bcampanelli@woonsocketschools.com or call 401-356-4041.
Stacie Bagley
Hi! My name is Stacie, I am an Occupational Therapist. I have worked within the district for 15 years and have a total of 25 years of Early Childhood experience from ages Birth to 5. I am also the Department Coordinator for the Occupational and Physical Therapists throughout the district. I enjoy working with children and watching them grow and learn. The majority of a child’s motor development happens within the first 7 years of life and those years are the foundation and building blocks for future success. Early Childhood and early access to enriched learning environments and therapeutic support is so important for our youngest learners.
