Bulldog Bulletin

Dear Bulldog Families-

I hope this message finds you and your family well. I hope that you are all enjoying your Fall Break! We cannot wait to see students to begin the second quarter on Monday, October 21st at 8:35a.

Weekly Highlights:

1. Teachers engaged in a full day of professional learning on Monday, October 14th. We spent some time in grade level teams planning and we can't wait for your Bulldogs to get back from break so they can experience instruction for all the planning.

2. We had our one full day of conferences on Tuesday, October 15th. It was so fun to hear students share their success and what they plan to work on for the remainder of the semester.

Upcoming Events:

1. Girls Basketball Try-Outs will start on Monday, October 21st after school. Please reach out to Coach Drobny at benjamin.drobny@d11.org with questions.

Reminders:

1. Cybersecurity permission forms are due by Monday, October 21st. If transportation is the barrier for your student being able to participate, please reach out to shirley.moorhead@d11.org.
2. Wednesday, October 23rd is a half day for students and a half day for conferences. Students will be fed lunch before we send them home. The end of the school day on Wednesday, October 23rd is 12:49p for students. Teachers, however, will be ready to receive you at 12:30p on Wednesday, October 23rd for conferences.
3. Yonder Pouches...friendly reminder that students must place their cell phones in their Yonder Pouches at the beginning of the school day. If students violate this board policy, we as a school will move through the disciplinary action set forth by the board of education.

We will be offering two more conference days that have evening time slots. If you have not been able to sign up for a specific time, feel free to stop in! (You may have to wait for a few minutes, but we really want to see you.) If you are only available at a specific time, please call (719) 328-2200 to schedule an appointment. We look forward to collaborating with you to support our Bulldogs!! Below is our Fall P/T flier for your reference. You can also reach out to your student(s) advisory teacher directly to get scheduled.

We are so excited for this partnership to continue! Paper applications will be available in the office beginning October 1st. They are due to the front office on November 4th. We will be sure to make them available during conferences in October, as well as post them in next week's news.
