Basketball has begun!
Our basketball season is off to a fantastic start! We’re thrilled to share that both our 7th/8th grade boys (Black Team) and 7th/8th grade girls kicked off the season with impressive wins. Their hard work, teamwork, and determination were on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder!
Thank you to our coaches, families, and supporters for cheering on our student-athletes. We look

Lions Leading- Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices!
Thank you!
We are excited to highlight the incredible culturally responsive teaching practices happening in our classrooms!
Mr. Rowe challenged his students to take a deep dive into the life and impact of James Madison, fostering meaningful discussions by assigning specific roles within student groups to ensure active participation and diverse perspectives.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Ehrke engaged her students in a dynamic game of collaborative Jeopardy, reinforcing vocabulary in an interactive and inclusive way that encouraged teamwork and deeper understanding.
We are proud of our educators for creating engaging learning experiences that empower all students.
Thank you for your continued support in making Lincoln Middle School a place where learning is meaningful and connected!

Lincoln Middle School is working with the Holocaust Museum of Los Angeles https://www.holocaustmuseumla.org/programs to host a special event on Thursday, February 27 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM in the Lincoln Cafeteria. "L’Dough v Dough Kneading Connections" celebrates storytelling and provides the rare opportunity for participants to make challah bread with a Holocaust survivor. While braiding the dough, students and their families will have the opportunity to hear a survivor’s firsthand account of his or her experiences. It is a fantastic event that is open to all Lincoln students and their families. Younger and older siblings are welcome! If you are interested, the sign-up link is here. I hope to see you there!
