NBHS Morning Announcements

THANK YOU for your voting support again! We won the contest to sing with Foreigner on May 16th at the BOS Center in Springfield!! Congratulations to Mrs. Charneski and the Pretzel Choir!!!

On Wednesday, April 26th, 14 NBHS Students attended the Sangamon County School Master's Leadership Conference. The presenter was a dynamic speaker named Dr. Phil Campbell (PC), sponsored by Jostens, participated in some really fun competitions, and NBHS student Marisol Rodriguez earned the Rock, Paper, Scissors Grand Championship!! Luke Cycholl, Jacob Heironimus, and Callidora Liapakis represented New Berlin High School by serving on the Mayor's Youth Council.

Last weekend, the NBHS Scholastic Bowl Team, along with Coach Limestall, traveled to Chicago to compete in the National Small School Tourney. The team ended the tourney with a 4-6 record.

Our Daily Announcements Include an Action for Happiness Challenge for the Day. Here is this Month's Challenge Calendar. Feeling part of something bigger is great for our wellbeing. So this month let's focus on the things that really matter and make life more meaningful.

The 20-21 Yearbooks have been ordered and we are still waiting on arrivals. I know it can be frustrating, but there's been a lot of communication back and forth with Jostens regarding this and we are working to get them in ASAP. The 21-22 Yearbooks are almost completed and will be in by the end of the semester.

I really appreciate everyone's patience with the yearbook, and after this year we will be back on track with everything! Please reach out if you have any questions!
