The Academic Pep Rally will take place on Wednesday, April 30th, during 2nd period.

All teachers are required to take attendance at the start of 2nd period. Students should check in with their 2nd period teachers before heading to the Olson Gym for the event.

Career Academy students who wish to stay at CHS for the Academic Pep Rally must check in at the Attendance Window both before and after the event. The office staff will provide additional instructions regarding attendance for the remainder of the Career Academy block. Failure to follow these procedures will result in an unexcused absence.

Student Council is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, April 30th, periods 3 through 6 in the Fishbowl. If you're 16 or older, healthy, and want to help save lives, we’d love to have you donate. Sixteen-year-olds will need a parent permission slip, which you can pick up outside the main office. And yes—you'll be excused from class to donate, as long as you signed up in advance. Don't forget to eat a good meal and drink plenty of water prior to your donation.

BONUS: We’ll have fresh pancakes before your donation—come hungry, leave a hero!

Seniors Parents: Your senior had a class meeting with Josten's regarding caps and gowns and other graduation items.They received a packet to bring home to you.*A flyer in the packet indicates that the school will be paying for the cap and gown, this is incorrect. The school does NOT pay for the cap and gown unit, and the cap and gown will need to be ordered and paid for when you place your order online.

Senior Feeder Walk is scheduled for Monday, May 19, 2025.

Senior Banquet will be held on Monday, May 19, starting at 6:30 p.m. at Sixteen03 Main Events. The Senior Banquet is a time for the seniors to get together and celebrate their hard work and accomplishments with dinner and a dance. We like to be able to give out prizes throughout the night to encourage students to stay and enjoy time with their classmates before they head in different directions. For that to be possible, we have put together an Amazon wish list. If you are interested in purchasing prizes for the banquet, you can use this list, and the items will be shipped to the school. If you would prefer to shop locally, please drop items off in the office. If you find an item not on this list that you think the seniors would enjoy, feel free to purchase that as well.
