Attendance Matters!
Students should be in Advisory by 7:20 each day.
OPEN HOUSE: August 29th 5 - 7 PM.
All Lewis MS Families are invited to Open House to meet your child's teachers, learn about their classes, view their classrooms, and explore different ways to partner with our school to help them learn. The Nurse's Office will be open to drop-off medical paperwork, school counselors and administration are available for your questions, and we will have information available about many of the great programs for our students this year. After-school club sign-up will also be available - students enrolling in three after school clubs are eligible for transportation home.
Parents will follow their child's schedule through out the evening. All students will bring home invitations with schedules this week before our event on Thursday.
Parents of 8th graders are invited to a Promotion Policy meeting in the Cafeteria at 6:40 PM, immediately after visiting classrooms during Open House. Please attend to learn about the new 8th Grade Promotion Policy, requirements to participate in the Promotion Ceremony, and other important information relevant to 8th Graders.

Parents are also able to join, but please remember that this tour is geared towards students, and as an adult traveler, you will need to fully participate in the tour. “Middle school counselors enhance the learning process and promote academic, career and social/emotional development. School counseling programs are essential for students to achieve optimal personal growth, acquire positive social skills and values, set informed career goals and realize full academic potential to become productive, contributing members of the world community” (ASCA).
Athletic Schedules and Athletic Events at Lewis MS
We encourage all parents and students to come support our Jaguars at their athletic contests this school year. All athletic events are free to attend. Students must have a parent or responsible adult with them to attend events as a fan. This is to ensure safety and a supportive environment for our events. Thank you for your understanding.
All Jaguars should bring their charged Chromebooks EVERY day!
Is your child meeting their 95% or higher attendance goal??
