Hello BEC Families,

Great news! At the last Board of Education meeting, the Board unanimously voted to approve the REACH and Early Childhood Center Bid, and the District will move ahead with a contract company to build a new REACH/Early Childhood Center. Please send an email to thank our board members for supporting the growth of Early Childhood in the Wentzville School District.

I would like to invite you to a special PTO meeting featuring Superintendent Tormala on Tuesday, April 4, from 6-7 p.m. in the Barfield ECC multipurpose room.

Superintendent Tormala will be presenting the District's Bond Initiative, which focuses on no tax increase. This presentation is part of our regular PTO meeting and will last approximately 20 minutes.

We encourage you to attend this important meeting to learn more about the Bond Initiative and how it will impact our school district. Your participation and feedback are valuable to us.

Our playground is now level and ready for our new rubber tiles. Fingers crossed that the installation begins next week. Our little ones are ready to have their playground back.

Congratulations to Nurse Jackie, who has been named our Support Person of the Year! We appreciate all of you how took the time to vote. She truly deserves this honor.

Please remember to update the office if you move anytime during this school year. You will need to bring your proof of residency so they can note the changes.

Four candidates will be on the ballot for two open seats in the April 2, 2024, election. The open seats are currently held by Shannon Stolle and Jason Goodson, and each open seat is for a three-year term.
