Principal's Update

Greetings Bulldog Families,

We had a great week at OP! We now only have 3 weeks left in the 1st Quarter, which ends October 18th. Please make a habit of checking your child's grades in Powerschool and encouraging them to reach out to teachers if they need help or need to make up any missing work.

I would like to again remind all parents that the circle drive at Oak Prairie is strictly to be used for buses and emergency vehicles. While it may be more convenient to pick up your child at the circle drive, all car riders should be picked up along the regular pick-up/drop-off location by the parking lot, not the circle drive. This applies to all before and after-school activities.

ISA and Fastbridge scores came home with your child today. Please check your child's folder or backpack. An additional copy can be requested from school if you can't locate them.

Oct 21st - 22nd - Boys Basketball Tryouts (see below for flyer)
Oct 23rd - OP Jazz Ensemble with Brass Tracks at North & Maple (7pm)

Clubs & Activities

Lunch Procedures

Students use their ID to pay for a school lunch. If they do not have their ID they can still get a lunch charged to their account, but they are not allowed to purchase a-la-carte items without their ID.

You can add money to their ID by sending a cash or check to school or by using MySchoolBucks.

Cross Country

On Saturday the cross country team competed in the Troy Invite. Oak Prairie had three that placed in their races: Brayden Klacko, Sam Wasilewski, and Eli Zimmerman. Eli won his race, which included 273 total competitors.

Boys Basketball Tryouts

Monday Oct. 21st

6th/7th Grade = 4:15 - 6:00

8th Grade = 4:15 - 6:00

Tuesday Oct. 22nd

6th/7th Grade = 2:30 - 4:15

8th Grade = 2:30 - 4:15

SOS After School Academic Support

Is your child in need of extra support with homework, studying, or reteaching? SOS will run every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and students can take the activity bus home after SOS. The Activity Bus Permission Slip must be on file with the office before a student is allowed to ride the bus.
