Dear Toro Families,

After seeing our Toros engage in high levels of learning this week-it was even more rewarding to see our leadership class put on a wonderful celebration at lunch on Friday. Students (and staff!) celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with games, contests, dancing and Karaoke! It was such a joy to watch our campus come together and create so many memories! Our Toro community is such a special place for all!

Our YMS Band performed at the OHS Feeder night Friday night---33 students played beautifully and we are so proud of them.

Our next PTO meeting is this Tuesday, September 24 @ 5pm. Zoom link will be emailed this week! Hope you can join us--our new board is really excited to start planning events for our Toros!

Over 13 clubs were out to recruit Toros to participate in their clubs this year! Clubs meet at various times, they will be announced to students over ToroTalkers each morning. Students are able to join a club at anytime.

To continue fostering a College and Career atmosphere during middle School, Yorba Middle School students and staff participate in College Shirt Wednesdays! (including AVID & Military branch shirts).

We appreciate your support to ensure we are prioritizing an academic and healthy social emotional environment for our students.

Student cell phones are allowed, but must be kept off in and in the backpack at all times. Should a parent or guardian need to contact a student during the school day, they can do so by contacting the main office. Students also have access to the office phones as needed. Students violating the cell phone policy will have their phones confiscated. In the event a student’s cell phone is confiscated, it will be held in the attendance office and must be picked up by the student’s parent or guardian. LOST or STOLEN personal items are NOT the responsibility of the school to locate or replace.

School Uniforms and PE Clothes are available for purchase in the front office.
