Dear Erin Families,

Our well water is not ready to drink yet, but we are getting really close! Our water sample this week had a score of one part per million of coliform bacteria from the well and two parts per million from the building. We need to be at zero. To put this in context, oftentimes unsafe samples are over 2500 parts per million.

We are consulting with Water Well Solutions, they confirmed that all of the steps that we took prior were the correct steps, and have recommended that we super chlorinate the well this weekend. This means the building will be closed tonight at 5:30 pm until noon on Sunday.

Our DNR representative reviewed the plan and is hopeful this will get us to level zero. Once we get to a level zero we will still be testing monthly per DNR protocols.

We continuously ask questions about water safety. Our well contractors and DNR communications assured us that it is safe to wash hands, wash dishes, etc. with our current water levels. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Join Christ Lutheran Church on Friday, October 13th at Erin School from 6:00-7:30pm for Family Lego Night. Legos will be available for all ages. A light supper will be offered. Join for 15 minutes or the whole time.

ATTENTION ALL 6th-8th GRADERS WHO LOVE TO SNOWBOARD! On Tuesday, October 3rd there will be an informational/registration meeting for potential athletes that already know how to snowboard, but want to improve their technique and start to compete in their age groups. Ultimately lettering in high school, earning a spot on the Varsity team, competing at State level (WIARA) and gaining an invitation to Nationals, in Co (yes, even in middle school you can compete at Nationals) can be achieved.

The ONLY requirement is that the student already knows how to snowboard, they will help them with learning the rest to successfully compete.

Today the Energizers attended our Fitness Friday event! The Dream Center in Hartford, offers a variety of dance and tumbling classes for girls and boys of all ages. These classes will help develop leadership, increase exercise, promotes teamwork and enhances discipline!
