J. C. Young Middle School

The opening of school has been nothing short of AMAZING!!! We anxiously welcomed our excited new 6th grade students as well as our returning 7th and 8th graders, who were equally as excited about the prospect of the new school year and all that it has to offer. There is PLENTY to be excited about. Over the last three years, we have worked diligently to “Rebuild the Legacy,” and our hard work has been paying great dividends. With your continued support, we will be the school described so powerfully in our vision: “a high performing IB school of choice where students want to learn, parents and families engage, educators empower students to succeed, and the community collaborates with the school to Rebuild the Legacy.”

I am eagerly looking forward to the rest of the academic year and beyond, confident that it will be filled with growth, achievement, learning, joy, and memorable experiences for all of our students, parents, staff, community members and all other stakeholders. Let’s make this the BEST year ever!!
