Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
🚨 Arrival:
Students may arrive between 8:40 and 9:00 for breakfast. Please do not drop students of at school prior to 8:30 a.m., as there is no supervision before this time and students will not be able to enter the school building. If your child arrives after the 9:00 bell, they will need to enter through the main office with a parent/guardian to obtain a tardy slip so that they are not counted absent.
🚨 Dismissal:
- It is CRITICAL that students and their teachers know exactly how they are supposed to go home each day.
- ALL car riders will gather in the gym and dismiss from the NE doors.
- Walkers will meet and dismiss out the side doors (east side of the building).
- The bus lane in front of the school is reserved for busses during dismissal. Cars may not park in the bus lane. Please do not enter the bus loop in front of the school during dismissal. Buses are on a tight schedule so all cars will need to park in a space or will be asked to move.
- If you should need to change your transportation, parents must call the office at 913.627.7000 and let us know. We will not change transportation arrangements without notification from a parent/guardian. You may contact your child's teacher, but will also need to call the office.
From the Front Office:
Reminder: Transportation changes must be reported before 2:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Early pick ups will not be permitted after 3:30 p.m. and 1:30 on Wednesdays. At that time, we are moving to our dismissal spots.
Thank you!

Did you know...
When a student misses 2 days a month...
- They will miss 20 days a year

Please make sure your student(s) are coming to school everyday! If your student is ill or will need to be absent, please call the front office. Students who after 9:07 a.m. will be counted tardy. You will need to walk your child into the office to sign them in after 9:07 a.m.
