On our early dismissal last day of school, Tuesday, June 21, we invite all 4th and 5th grade parents to join us for a special “clap out” for our 4th and 5th grade students. The clap out will begin at 12:15 PM inside the building with our students and staff lining the hallways to clap for our 4th and 5th grade students. Please arrive between 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM, park in either parking lot and spread out to line the upper parking lot loop to clap for your 4th and/or 5th grader as they walk around the loop. We ask that parents line both sides of the loop so the students can walk through the center and that as much of the loop is lined as possible so there is a long stretch of clapping for the students. Parents are welcome to bring balloons, noise makers, flowers, and/or decorate their cars for when they pick their child up in front of the school after the clap out is over. The students will walk around the loop twice and then return to their classrooms and gather their belongings, while parents return to their cars and line up to pick their child up on the dismissal pickup loop. Beginning at 12:50 PM, we will run a regular dismissal for all grades. Parents should remember to bring their car tags for dismissal.
