The truth is that change is not easy; not because of the nature of change itself (children are happy to change everything and start a new thing in just a moment) but because we have been accustomed to the social conditioning of following the path of least effort and always aim for comfort.
The bitter truth is that we are soooo accustomed to this pattern (all the social media and social indoctrination is to have as our biggest aim a more comfortable physical life) that it seems to us almost impossible to see it and act upon it differently.
