Did you miss our student item distribution days last week? No worries, come by the CMSS front entrance any day this week from 8 am until noon. EVERY student has something that needs to be picked up.

Spring Pictures are still not available at this time. The factory that prints the photos was shut down due to the COVID19 pandemic. Once the factory reopens and sends the photos to CMSS, we will post pick-up information on our social media sites. Thank you for your patience!

Congratulations to the Mrs. Adams for being named CMSS Teacher of the Year! She will represent CMSS as a finalist to represent Cabot Public Schools as district teacher of the year. We are proud of her and all of our teachers at CMSS for going above and beyond in reaching students' academic, social, and emotional needs every day.

CMSS students will complete their AMI work through Arkansas PBS. Teachers will be sharing this information through Google Classroom to their Advisory students. You can also access the videos and activities by clicking on the link below.

Even though the school year is coming to a close, you can still support CMSS through Box Tops for Education! Box Tops for Education is still going strong and each box top counts as cash for CMSS! Since 1996, General Mills has donated over $913 million to schools just like CMSS.

You can continue to send in your Box Tops with your student OR you can download the Box Top App and choose CMSS at your school. Then, simply scan your grocery receipt and CMSS will be credited for each eligible item you purchased.

Space Camp refunds are currently being processed. We appreciate your patience in this matter as we work to credit over 250 individuals due to the cancellation of this event.

• If the event was paid online through our district website, the refund will be credited back to the debit/credit card that was used.
• If cash was paid, the refund will be going to the parent/guardian that is listed where student resides through our online database.
• If the amount was paid with a check, the refund is going to the name on the check that was given for payment.

At this point, Cabot Public Schools will remain closed for on-site instruction due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The point of contact for your student is their Advisory Teacher. Students are encouraged to check their student emails and Google Classroom frequently for updates from their teachers. Zoom meetings may also be scheduled so teachers and students can have face to face communication.

The safety of our students has always been a top priority here at CMSS. That priority continues as our teachers work to utilize new ways to connect with their students to continue learning through the COVID-19 outbreak. Students may be asked to join online instruction through platforms, like Zoom.

Our teachers will send invites to their students for these meetings to ensure privacy and prevent non-students from hacking into those meetings. If you do not feel comfortable with your child joining these types of meetings, please communicate this with your student's Advisory teacher so an alternate method of communication can be established.

During this health crisis, many families may be feeling anxious and overwhelmed. For kids, this can be a particularly scary time. There are so many unknowns.Even though we are not together in our buildings, we are still able to and want to stay connected. Our school counselors have been reaching out to our students.

They are able to provide social and emotional support to students during this challenging time. Counselors can also share information, activities, and connect families to community resources during the extended school closure.

Cabot Public Schools understand not every child has access to Wi-Fi. Beginning Monday, April 6th from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., WiFi spots will be available in the parking lots of

• Magness Creek Elementary
• Ward Central Elementary
• Southside Elementary
• Champs Hall and courtyard at Cabot High School.
• The Cabot Public Library also has free WiFi in its parking lot. It is available 24/7.
