December 4, 2024
Dear Families,
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! This week we started our winter benchmark testing. We will use this data to analyze how our students are progressing in both reading and math and determine if any additional supports are needed. Once testing is completed results will be shared with families.
We have several meetings and activities this week including our Inclusive Playground Committee meeting at 4:00 in the library on Thursday. All are welcome to attend. We also have our Kindergarten music programs on Thursday at 6pm & 7pm. Our students and staff have been practicing for weeks and The Mitten will be fantastic.
Our kindergarten & first grade are both attending field trips to the Coterie Theater and our District Health & Wellness Committee is meeting next Tuesday at Central Office. All are welcome to attend our District Health & Wellness Committee meeting! Our Site Council has been planning our next family engagement opportunity which will feature implementing the Watch Dogs Program. We will provide more information over the coming weeks.
