PARENT NIGHT NEW FORMAT SURVEY
It was so nice to see so many of you at Parent/Family Night on September 12th. It was a new format this year, and we were excited to see so many participate. The children were so excited to share their classroom and what they were learning with you. We would love your thoughts on the night. Please click on the link below to answer a few questions so we can gain your feedback. https://forms.gle/c9owo8iiGNuYA9bs9
Mileage Club Volunteers Needed!!
We are in need of several more volunteers to help make the first week of Mileage Club a success. The club is run during lunch recess. Please consider volunteering to hand out and scan student cards. A Mileage Club note should have come home last week.
- For those of you who are new, Mileage Club volunteers hand out and collect mileage club tracking cards, scan lap progress (on provided iPads) and most importantly provide encouragement! A coordinator with experience/knowledge of the tasks required will be in attendance to help explain the program and answer any questions you may have during your shift(s). Please click here for additional volunteer information.
Fall Mileage Club will begin on Monday, September 9th and ends on Friday, October 18th.
Thanks for considering.

West Families!!! This is a BIG and EXCITING week for our fundraiser. 🎉 🥇
Our students have been hard at work raising money to get closer to reaching the Gold!! We are just over 50% of our goal of $25,000, which is approximately what we raised last year, but we still really need your help to get us there. With only 4 days left we are just below the $13,000 mark. There is still time to share your child's individual page to collect these final donations! Every single dollar counts. Click Here to access your child's page: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/wpo
A big congrats to Violet H in Mrs. Penuela's class who will receive 4 raffle tickets toward the Nintendo Switch raffle! We also have Coraline M in Mrs. Bott's class, Ethan L. in Mrs. Penuela's class and Aleksander H in Mrs. Gaede's class who each have 3 raffle tickets each so far! We have several more students who also will be entered into the raffle. Raising $200 gets you at least 1 raffle ticket! Plus, we are $2,000 shy of adding another Nintendo Switch Lite to the raffle! We can get there, West! We can't wait to see who will win!
The race for the class trophy prize is very competitive! Currently, Mrs. Penuela's class is in first with $2,044 but Mrs. Bott's class is close behind with $1,165 and Mrs. Wolf's class can't be counted out with $895 raised so far. Who will pull it out and take home the final trophy!?! We can't wait to find out!
This week is also Spirit Week! Hat Day is today and Pajama Day is tomorrow - always a favorite day!
And don't forget, the Olympic Games are on Friday - make sure your kiddos keep with our USA theme and wear Red, White and Blue athletic wear. We have an exciting day planned!
