Math Team Event - Math Scholarship
Pi Day Pi k Fun Run/Walk
The Math Team has a great event for you in mid-March! And it benefits our students. If you run, this event is for you! If you don't run, you do walk so this event is for you, too!
In an effort to offer at least one Math Department scholarship for college/trade school, we are hosting a Pi Day Pi k event. It's a fun run/walk with a distance of just under 2 miles. We start at the high school, use the Clinton River Trail, and come back via Lincolnview/Waukegan.
Event: Saturday, March 15, 10 AM. It will take as long as it takes you to run/walk 2 miles. :-)
Registration deadline: Saturday, March 1.
Cost: $31.42. ($10pi). This gets you an event t-shirt, medal and 31.42 percent (about $10) goes toward the scholarship fund.
You are getting the info before it goes to the community! Registrations are limited.
Additional details and registration can be found here.
If you want to help, but not run/walk, we could use you to check people in, distribute water at the finish line, or serve as a course monitor. Please let me know if you have any questions, or would like to help in one of those capacities.
