5TH GRADE CELEBRATIONs
Congratulations to all of our 5th graders that are moving onto middle school. You will be missed and we wish you all the best next year!
REPORT CARDS
Report cards will be available electronically in the Power School portal on Tuesday afternoon. In addition, spring AIMsweb and iReady assessment data will be sent home with your child on Tuesday afternoon.
SUMMER READING AND TECHNOLOGY USE
Summer is almost here and many parents want to know what technology students will have access to in the summer. Students will have CLEVER access until the end of June. After that, the CLEVER app and student login badges for grades K-2 will not work once IT begins to change things over for the following school year. If your child uses a school gmail account (grades 3-5), they will still have access to that account and Google apps over the summer.
Please make sure to take a look at all of the wonderful programs the library is offering for summer reading! Students will be learning about the expectations for summer reading during their last library class. Please be on the look out for summer reading logs! I look forward to seeing all the books Aiken students have read this summer! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!

KING PHILIP 8TH GRADE SCIENCE CLASS
On Tuesday morning, over 75, King Philip 8th graders visited Aiken to share their arcade games with our students. All of the games were created with recycled materials. Our students loved walking through the cafeteria to try out the different games and learn more about how they were made. The event was organized by KP Science Teacher Sarah Wexler who is also an Aiken parent. It was a great collaboration and something that we hope will become and annual event. An added bonus was getting to see so many Aiken alumni.
MOVING THIS SUMMER
As we begin the process of grouping students into classes for the 2024-2025 school year, it is helpful to know now if your child will not be returning to Aiken in the fall. Please email Kimberly_Grady-Davis@whps.org
