Welcome back! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving break and was able to spend some time with family. How quickly the school year is going with only a few short weeks left of 2024!

We began our week with an Advent prayer service in the gym. We listened as we were reminded that Advent is a time of waiting for the birth of Jesus. Our Advent wreath on the wall represents new life, hope, and God's everlasting love. The first purple candle symbolizes hope for the coming of the Messiah, and the hope that He brings to the world. As we prepare for Jesus's birthday, let us not forget that God has something important for each of us to do just as He had an important job for Mary.

Thursday (12/5/24) Aftercare: Please make arrangements to have your child picked up from aftercare by 4:30 p.m. This will allow everyone to get home, eat, change, and be ready for our Christmas concert that evening. Thank you for your understanding!

Winter Market: Don't forget to make plans to stop by our Winter Market for some holiday shopping from local vendors this Saturday, December 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Admission fee is $1.

All School Mass: All school Mass will be on Monday, December 9th and Friday, December 13th.

Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, families will be notified in a text alert and email through FACTS. In most cases, a decision will be made by 6:30 a.m.

Early Dismissal: If we have an early dismissal due to inclement weather there will NOT be after school care. Other arrangements will need to be made if your child normally attends after care.

Late Start: In the event of a late start, students can be dropped off at 9:20 a.m. and school will begin at 9:40 a.m. There will be NO early morning care.

Have a great weekend and do not forget to spend some time with God.

With your permission, grandparents will be allowed to take their child(ren) home after the 1:30 Christmas Concert performance. If you would like their grandparents to take them home after the Christmas Concert fill out the permission slip that your child will be bringing home tonight and return it to school. Please fill one out for each child.

Plus, 50% of the profits from their purchases (or orders sponsored to them) are applied to their registration fees at St Stanislaus or Helias the following year. Don’t have family at St Stanislaus or Helias? You can choose to sponsor a family, donate to ‘Family Assistance’, or give all profit to the school. It’s time to put your shopping dollars to work!

This year, the St. Stanislaus Christmas Concerts will take place on Thursday, December 5th. Our afternoon performance will begin at 1:30 with students in school uniforms (blue top/khaki bottoms, NO Santa hats, flashing items or sequence please). Please enter through the main gym doors, these doors will open at 1:00. Grandparents can take their grandchild(ren) home with them after the performance. The office will send out more details in the next few days.

Our evening performance will be at 6:00 with students in “Christmas/dressy” attire. Please NO Santa hats, flashing items, sequence or jeans. Please enter through the main gym doors, these doors will open at 5:30. Students should report to their classrooms by 5:45 and will return to the gym for the performance.
