With the new updates and completed sidewalks around Bridge Street and 2nd Street, the walking access near the flood wall has been closed. Anyone walking to and from school needs to use the new sidewalks to entire the building. During arrival and dismissal please cross near Mr. Richard.

We created MAP goals last week with all K-8 students, which involved them deciding if their RIT score and percentile would increase, decrease, or stay the same. They then had to articulate the reason behind their decision. Every student has been exposed to new and challenging content and has been provided with a variety of learning opportunities. Theoretically, if they focus and take their time, then they should perform at a level higher than in the fall. Score sheets will go home next week and we will provide a family-friendly video to help with discussions at home. Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats breakfast at home or at school to get their brains ready!

It is with much excitement we announce the creation of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Frankfort! For those unfamiliar with this organization, any child in our community (from birth to age five; registered with our affiliate) will be eligible to receive a book in the mail each month.

As educators, you understand the importance of getting books in the hands of children and that the earlier the better!

The monthly cost for each book mailed home is $1.05 with the state currently matching funds to DPIL affiliates. With a $25 donation, you can put 24 books into our community. How can you help?
