CCSD66 Parent Volunteer & Chaperone Handbook
Recently, the BOE approved the following handbook: CCSD66 Parent Volunteer & Chaperone Handbook. The handbook is in conjunction with our safety improvements as outlined within the following Board Policy: Safety, Community Resources, & Volunteers Policy 6.250. All volunteers and/or chaperones will need to complete the Parent Volunteer & Chaperone Form, which is included in the handbook.

Don't forget to sign-up to be a part of the 2023/2024 Student Directory! Digital copies of the completed directory are available for $3 - but you can participate in the directory for no charge. For our special-needs families, we also offer an additional directory called "Pathways" to help connect our families and students with special needs in the district, at no additional charge. Participation in both directories is completely voluntary and you can choose the categories of information that you are comfortable sharing. Lunch at School
Lunch (including milk) costs $3.25, Milk only costs $0.75. To fund your child’s lunch account & set up auto pay, visit your MySchoolBucks account or send cash/check payable to CCSD66 in an envelope. The lunch menu for August and September can be found below.
Free and Reduced Price Meals
Free and reduced-price meals are available to children whose family qualifies based on household size and income level. The household eligibility guidelines, and the policies governing this program, are determined annually by the State of Illinois and the federal government. Before the beginning of the school year (typically July 1), the District receives notice from the Illinois State Board of Education for families who have qualified for free meals through a Direct Certification process. Other families may become eligible for meal benefits by completing an Application for Free and Reduced Meals. The application will be emailed to families in July. Families must re-apply for meal benefits every July.
Picture Day
Picture Day for Elizabeth Ide Elementary School is scheduled for Tuesday, September 5th. This event's Order Code is 78090RF.
Online ordering is available before and after Picture Day. Shipping and handling charges may apply to orders placed after Picture Day.
