Spring in Arizona is finally approaching!

As things begin to warm up, remind your students to bring water bottles and stay hydrated! Also, keep an eye out for any missing sweaters or jackets in our lost and found. We donate items that have been left at the end of the quarter.

After-school programs end at 4 pm and all students must be picked up by then!

As we head toward our final quarter for the school year, students will begin or continue testing so attendance will be as important as ever! Please help us continue to improve our attendance! Contact the front office if your student will be absent for any reason or if there are any changes to how a student will be getting home.

We are currently taking pre-orders for this year's yearbooks. Please fill out a pre-sale form with $15 payment and bring it to Room 1 in the mornings (from 7:30-8:20). Payment must be cash only with exact change. One form per child/yearbook. We will take all pre-orders until the deadline on April 4th.

There are many upcoming events this month!

• Spring Picture Day is on March 4th - Individual and class pictures will be taken! You can order your photos at inter-state.com/Order Use code: 93508JB
• Grading Day is on March 7th - There will be no school for students
• Spring Break is from March 10th-14th - There is no school! Have a fun and safe spring Break!
• Kinder & 1st Grade Spring Show is on March 19th - A special OMA performance at 9:30 am featuring kinder and 1st grade! Parents and siblings are welcome!
• Scholastic Book Fair is from March 24th-28th - Open during student lunch times and after school until 3:30 pm. Yearbooks will be available for pre-sale purchase at this time (separate cash only purchase)
• Professional Development Day is on March 26th - There will be no school for students while teachers and staff participate in all-day training.

• Students are not allowed to enter the building before 7:30 a.m. There is no supervision until that time.
• Do not park and abandon your vehicle in the designated drop-off/pick-up lane or in the bus bays. This causes major problems during drop off and dismissal. Please use either parking lots when visiting.
• Follow speed limits in the “School Zones”
• Encourage your child to report all injuries or unsafe conditions to any adult on campus. If we do not know about circumstances when students are unsafe, we can’t intervene to help.
• Always walk your child into the office when they are tardy. The first bell rings at 8:25am. This is a District policy that is in place to keep your child safe. Never have your children walk to school alone when they are going to be significantly tardy.
• Parent pick-up students must be picked up in designated area in front of school. Please do not park in front of the building.
• You are welcome to sign students out before dismissal when appropriate. Please check them out in our front office.
• Parents/Guardians MUST call the front office when making a change in dismissal procedure. Thank you for helping us keep your child safe!
