Spotlight on School Safety
Safety and Security is a shared value in the Medford School District. Throughout the year we will practice with fire, earthquake, and lockdown drills to ensure all students and staff know how to stay safe at school if any of these incidents occur. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or suggestions!

DMV Online Knowledge Test
Is your teen learning how to drive? The DMV Knowledge Test is now available online!
Why take the test online?
Testing online allows customers the chance to know that they have passed their exam before coming into the DMV office and the option to test in a familiar and comfortable environment without the pressure of being in an office. This can save people multiple trips into the office if they do not pass the first time.
What do students need?
Students need a laptop or a computer with a webcam, keyboard, mouse, and reliable internet.
Students who are under 18 will need someone 21 or older to supervise them taking the test.
After students pass the knowledge test online, they will need to go to their local DMV office with their identity documents to have their card issued; they do not need to schedule an appointment.

PUBLICITY DENIAL
Medford School District staff often take photos and videos of students during field trips, school events, sports activities, performances and during classroom instruction to share the work and accomplishments of students. Those accomplishments are shared through the district
website, social media, print publications, fliers, and brochures. The district also works with local news media to promote student work, as well as district projects and initiatives.
If you do not want your student’s image to be published, please visit your school office to fill out a Publicity Denial form. We will make every effort to protect the privacy of your students.
Please note the district cannot guarantee a student’s image will not be published if the student is photographed/videotaped in a large group or crowd setting, such as school assemblies, sports events, and public meetings.
Please contact the Communications Department at msd.communications@medford.k12.or.us with any questions.
