Final exams for grades 9–11 begin Thursday, 6/12. School starts at 8:30 AM, with dismissal at 12:45 PM. Students needing to make up an exam can do so between 12:45–3:30 PM.

8:30–10:15 AM: Exam
10:15–10:45 AM: Brunch
10:45 AM–12:30 PM: Exam

Students in French Intermediate A and B recently participated in the National French Contest / Le Grand Concours. 10 students earned a Mérite Honorable, and two students earned medals! Félicitations!

All students at SHS are required to complete community service hours in order to graduate. Information about the community service requirement as well as instructions for submitting hours can be found on our website.

Students in grades 9-11 received their schedules during Advisory on Thursday. Counselors are available to meet with students regarding concerns with their schedule. If a student would like to schedule a meeting with their counselor for this purpose, we encourage them to do so in person by coming to Student Services and scheduling the meeting with Michelle Paul, our administrative assistant.

Save the Date (August 21st) 12:30-2:30, our School Counselors will offer a workshop for seniors to get a jump start on their application. More details will be shared directly to students/families as the date approaches.

Souhegan will offer two programs for rising 9th grade students to orient them to our school. More details will be sent by mid June directly to families, but we wanted to get the dates out for families to be aware:

• Saber Start Up - Aug. 12, 13, 14th Optional small group orientation program that emphasizes building connections

• 9th Grade & Transfer Student Orientation - Fri. August 22nd (half day) - All new 9th grade and transfer students encouraged to attend. Will balance some activities with some required logistic items (technology, key cards, schedule walk through, etc).

Next week is Senior Week, and it's packed with fun events and important moments you won’t want to miss. Be sure to check out the schedule and stay in the loop!

All outstanding balances and materials must be resolved before you can receive your cap & gown for graduation!

Here’s what to take care of:
📌 Class Dues ($50) – Pay via cash, check, or MySchoolBucks
📌 Textbooks/Library Materials – Return or pay for lost items at the Info Center
📌 Athletic Gear – Return uniforms/equipment to Kelli Braley or Ben Arnold
📌 Lunch Balances – Clear any negative balances through the cafeteria or MySchoolBucks
📌 Laptops & Chargers – Return loaned equipment and/or have your device formatted by IT

We're looking forward to recognizing student achievements in academics, athletics, NH Scholars, and community scholarships. The night will wrap up with the exciting announcement of this year’s Valedictorian and Salutatorian!

Take some of the stress out of Graduation Evening and support Souhegan PTSA. The raffle is for two Grad Seat packages which include four (4) reserved seats and one (1) reserved parking space. Raffle tickets are $25 each. Fill out this Google form to enter and pay. Winners will be drawn on Tuesday, June 10th at 7pm and will be contacted directly.

On Monday, June 9, Brian Goddard will represent the Sabers in the Boys Singles Tournament, also at Derryfield High School, starting at 2:00 PM.

Our Sabers took down Bishop Guertin in the Division I Quarterfinals last night and are headed to the Semifinals!
