Principal's Message
Good Evening Yowell Families,
Happy Unofficial Last Day of Summer! This weekend had dreary moments, but boy, oh boy, today didn't disappoint with beautiful weather. I hope your family found ways to enjoy this long weekend. This is the last long weekend until October for our students.
Our annual school fundraiser is off to a strong start. Thank you to our 250+ students who have engaged in the fundraiser. Students who sent 10 emails/text messages have received their fidget bee and will have their Urban Air pass sent home in their Tuesday folder. It will be in an envelope with their name on it. In order to keep our fundraiser going we ask any family that hasn't sent out their 10 emails/text messages. These students will also earn the prizes distributed. These funds help our school continue to develop outdoor space and host an inflatable extravaganza for our students.
Our fall pictures will be taken on Wednesday, September 11th. Based on your feedback from last year we have switched to Lifetouch Photographer. Lifetouch does not collect money onsite. All orders are placed online and will be mailed to your home. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Galenski in the office.

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here. Also, this is the direct link to transportation.
Parents of students Pre-K through Grade 3 are expected to meet their children at the bus stop. Failure to do so will result in the child(ren) being returned to school. Should you choose to allow your child(ren) to be dropped off without supervision in the afternoon, please fill out and return this document.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
