Student Handbook
CLICK HERE for the 2024-25 Student Handbook (clic para espanol ).
Each year, the Student Handbook is updated and provides basic information on important matters such as curriculum, discipline, student health, parent-teacher conferences and more. Help your child have a successful school year by becoming familiar with the information in this handbook and discussing it with your child as appropriate. This handbook is based on Board Policy with relevant policy sections noted in parentheses. Parents are encouraged to review Board Policy, which is provided in a searchable format. The Board of Education reviews and amends its policy regularly; if the policy differs from information in this handbook, Board Policy takes precedence.
Cheering on Former D41 Student in Paralympics
Good luck to former Benjamin Franklin School and Hadley Junior High School student and Paralympic Silver Medalist Ahalya Lettenberger as she competes again in Paris on September 1 and 2 in the 100 breaststroke and 400 freestyle.
According to ABC news, "Ahalya Lettenberger was born with arthrogryposis amyoplasia, a skeletal disorder that limits the use of her lower body. That hasn't slowed her down. She's been swimming since the age of 12 and is headed to compete in two events at the 2024 Paris Paralympics."
Congratulations to Ahalya! Read the Daily Herald article HERE

This is a public notice to inform parents where to find registered sex offender information for DuPage County. Click here.
Hadley Student Ambassadors Take the Lead
Students at Hadley Junior High worked together to answer the question, "What does an optimal or successful learning environment look like for a 6th, 7th, 8th grade student?" Each advisory class chose an ambassador to represent their advisory class. The student leaders reflected on the ideas generated from their classmates and met outside of class to summarize their collective thoughts.
“They did an excellent job. They stayed focused and had great discussions,” said Hadley teacher Mrs. Dina Sbarra. “I will type up each list and send it to all teachers to post in their classrooms.”
Thank you for your leadership, Hadley ambassadors!
