What Our Lions are Learning
EOGs continue this week. Please help us by making sure that your students arrive at school on time well-rested and ready!
If your student was absent for one of their tests or arrived late on their testing day, they will be able to make up the EOG they missed this Wednesday and Thursday. See the calendar below for details.
Be sure to ask your Swann Lion to tell you more about what they are doing in their classes!

No-Cost School Meals
The federal waivers that allowed all schools to serve free breakfast and lunch to all students are ending this summer. To ensure that students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals are able to receive those meals on the first day of school, we are asking parents to fill out the application at www.lunchapplication.com or get a paper form from the front office. This will establish a family’s qualifications for meal discounts for the first 30 days of the 2022-23 school year.
A new application must be completed after July 1 for the remainder of the school year.
GCS Federal Funds Feedback
Each year Guilford County Schools completes an application for Federal funds, including Titles I, II, III, and Title IV funds. Part of the process is stakeholder consultation. The survey pertains to the use of Federal funds to improve schools and student achievement. We would like you to complete the survey so that you have an opportunity to submit input into our Federal application. Please reply by June 3!
