Superintendent Update
Dear Will County School District 92 Community,
As August comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank you for sharing your amazing students with us. The halls of our schools have been filled with laughter, excitement, and a sense of new beginnings. It's been a joy to watch our students dive into learning, make new friends, and embrace the start of this school year. Here's a fun video highlighting our first day together this year: August 21, 2024 FIRST DAY.
We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is key to your student's success. Your involvement, encouragement, and support make all the difference as we work together to create a positive and enriching experience for each child.
To celebrate the highlights of the month, we’ve put together a short video recap of August, capturing the energy and enthusiasm that have made this start so special. We invite you to take 92 seconds to relive some of these wonderful moments with us.

Transportation with Grand Prairie Transit
Thank you for your continued patience as Grand Prairie Transit is working through a few kinks with our arrival and dismissal procedures. We understand the importance of ensuring that our students arrive safely and on time, and your cooperation has been invaluable during this period.
As a friendly reminder, we ask that students be at their bus stop at least 5 minutes before their scheduled pick-up time. While Grand Prairie drivers do their best to stay on track, changes in routes, drivers, and riders may occasionally cause the bus to arrive a few minutes ahead of or behind schedule. We have reiterated the importance of bus drivers checking parent/guardian IDs at drop off for our Walsh and Reed students to the Grand Prairie team. If you notice that your child's driver is not following this procedure please contact your child's school office. We appreciate your support with helping ensure all our students are arriving home safely! If you are experiencing excessive delays or have questions regarding your child(ren)'s bus schedule please feel free to reach out to Grand Prairie Transit at 815-838-1012.
Your understanding and partnership are truly appreciated as we work together to ensure our students arrive at school safely and arrive home safely!! Thank you once again for your support, patience, and partnership!
