Bulldog News High School Edition
Welcome back!
News from the Principal Ms. Hager
I hope that your summer has been an enjoyable one. The 2021-2022 school year should be an exciting one at Garfield Heights High School, as we continue to strive to be the best we can. We are delighted to be able to welcome students back into the building! Please remember that students will need to wear a mask at all times while they are in the building unless they are actively eating lunch during their lunch period. We are thrilled to inform you that we have been recognized as an Ohio Department of Education Bronze PBIS School! We will continue to focus on our PBIS program centered around Bulldog Pride. We want our students to be Prepared, Respectful, Involved, Determined and Excellent. We want everyone to strive to be the best version of themselves. Attendance at school is an important factor in any student's educational career, but especially at the high school level. We have partnered with the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio Department of Education to remind students to Stay in the Game and Keep Learning, Every Day! As a district, we have worked with the community and Board of Education to develop a portrait of a graduate and we are excited to help our students become leaders that are socially and emotionally aware, career prepared, and equipped with real-world skills. We will continue to work on the district strategic plan this year having professional conversations and taking students and our building to the next level.
