EOG Letters, Enrichment and Summer Testing

Parent letters were sent home with students on Friday. These letters indicate whether your child scored "Proficient" or "Not Proficient" on the EOGs. The letters also extend an invitation to students who were Not Proficient to be able to return to school June 3 - 7 to participate in remediation and readministration of the EOG(s) in which they scored Not Proficient. It is important to pay close attention to the dates, times, remediation and readministration offerings for each day.

We will create new bus routes based on which students commit to attending and require bus transportation. The letter also asks if your child will be taking advantage of the free breakfast and lunch program provided. Please return these letters on Tuesday, May 28th so that we may begin planning remediation and test readministration groupings as well as transportation and meal planning.

If your child scored Proficient on all assessments, you do not need to return the letter.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher!

Returning Student Registration- Open Early This Year

Powerschool Online enrollment for the upcoming school year 24-25 is now available!

We are transitioning to a new student data system this summer. In order for information to transfer smoothly, we need all students registered for the 24-25 school year before June 16th. Please complete as soon as possible as this platform will not be available after June 16th.

Your student's grade level will show for the grade they will be in for the 24-25 school year.

Agree to the terms and conditions

Click Begin Forms and Enter the students Date of Birth

When registering more than one student select the IMPORT option offered for the second student. This will allow information from the first student to copy over to the additional student.

Field Day- May 29th

Please join us Wednesday, May 29 from 9-1:30 for our Annual Field Day. Students will participate in a variety of station activities including competitive games, dance, carnival, outside games, water stations and more. Students will need a change of clothes including socks and shoes, as well as, a towel. Sunscreen is also advisable; pending the weather. Parents, please be advised that students are to follow guidelines for appropriate clothing as specified in our school dress code policy. Parents are encouraged to attend; however, ONLY STORIES CREEK STUDENTS are allowed to participate. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating another wonderful year at the Creek.

Waterworks- End of Year AR Goal Celebration

Tomorrow (Tuesday 5/28) will be our final AR celebration. Students in grades 2nd-5th who MET their 4th nine weeks AR goal will get to participate in water fun tomorrow afternoon. We will be sending dojo reminders to parents of those students who qualify to participate. Participating students should come dressed in what they plan to get wet (school dress code guidelines still apply). Bring a full change of clothes, towel, and sunscreen. The fun begins at 12:20pm tomorrow.

Tuesday, May 28th- Waterworks Celebration (4th Nine Weeks AR Goal Party)

Wednesday, May 29th (All Day)- Field Day

Thursday, May 30th- K-4 Awards Ceremonies.

Kindergarten- May 30th at 9am
1st Grade- May 30th at 10am
2nd Grade- May 30th at 2pm
3rd Grade- May 30th at 1pm
4th Grade- May 30th at 11am

Thursday, May 30th (6pm)- 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony

Friday, May 31st (All Morning)- 5th Grade End of Year Party and Awards

If you plan to volunteer for any of these activities/events, you must be an approved volunteer. The application can be found on the PCS website.

Year End Dojo Party

We need your help with our final Dojo party. On Friday, May 31st we will celebrate our students who met their Dojo goals for the 4th nine weeks with an ice cream sundae. If you can donate, please sign up below. You can send items in this week or wait until Friday morning. Thanks!

May 31st- Last Day of School and Early Release

How are we here? This year has flown by! Friday, May 31st will our last day of school. We will dismiss at 12:45pm.

Lunch Menus and School Nutrition Information

Our school menus have a new look. They are linked here, so check them out!

A La Carte extras will be available for additional cost. You can pay for your child's lunch by sending in cash or check for your child to give the cafeteria. You can also use the online payment center to add money to your child's account. Lunch money is still added through the K-12 payment center. The online payment center is linked here.

Outside Food and Drink:

Students cannot have soft drinks or food from restaurants (unless it is in an unmarked container). This would apply also if a parent were bringing in food to have lunch with their child in the cafeteria.
