I hope that all of you have a wonderful time of relaxation and peace during the upcoming Spring Break.
It's been a busy week at Banyan with our monthly Monday meeting, the start of the next round of clubs and the culmination of our Penny War fundraiser. See the pictures below that show what a great sport Mr. Payraudeau was. While we were scheduled to have our track meet this afternoon, it will be rescheduled for after the break due to the weather.
Let's remember to honor Ms. Donna on the Wednesday we get back for Administrative Professionals Day!
Return of Unused Snow Days: As per Mrs. McNeill's email this week, schools will be closed on 5/16 (a previously planned single session day with staff development) and 5/23 & 5/27 (added on to the long Memorial Day Weekend). We tried to make these days as convenient for families as possible. Keep in mind that this will mean we will reschedule Pet Day. I will include the new date in the bulletin when we return from the break.
If you are planning to have your child be out of school for Take Your Child to Work Day on April 24th, please let the main office know and submit a letter from your place of employment that the child attended.

Mark your calendars: May 5th to May 9th is Teacher Appreciation Week! Let’s show our teachers just how much we value them with five days of special activities. We need volunteers to help organize and carry out this week, ensuring our faculty and staff feel truly appreciated. You’re not required to help every day; any time you can contribute will be beneficial. If you're interested in volunteering, please add your name to the sign-up sheet below.
