Spirit Night is for ALL Holicong students!
The events include a DJ-Dance, Volleyball, Beanbag Toss, Spoons, Snacks, Prize Drawings, and an Inflatable Obstacle Course!!!
We want kids to come out and have fun with their Holicong friends!
Dress is casual – we would love to see their Holicong Pride Green and Gold
Friday 10/4/24 is Spirit Night!!!
This is a POPS sponsored event, and it is our main fundraiser to support all of our service events for the year.
Spirit Night is $10.00 + a canned good
Magazine Drive Due Date Extended - The magazine drive due date has been extended to Monday!
PARENT & GUARDIAN VOLUNTEER SURVEY - Thank you to everyone who has already signed up and looking for ways to support the Holicong community. We will keep the survey open until this until Sunday night at midnight and then review the information and distribute to our team to start planning! Please click on the link above if you are still interested in "Getting in the Game!"

STUDENT HANDBOOK REMINDER – A reminder to all students, parents, and guardians that students that the students were provided a free student handbook the first day of school. Students are required to have the handbook with them as it is used for a variety of purposes including a sign out for students leaving class, HW & assignment record, and other school activities. Please see students SMART goal completed last week in I & E so you are aware of and can assist with completing this goal.

COLONIAL CORES & EXPECTATIONS – It was a great first week with students as we reviewed basic overview of expectations, policies, and procedures and following up this week as noted above. We have created the Colonial Core page on our website for our community to access the overview of the Colonial Cores and what we teach and the expectations we have for students and all of us in a variety of settings. We will continue to model and revisit these throughout the year!
9th GRADE UPDATES
Please don't forget to register your son/daughter for our first field trip to Camp America on October 21st (Team Fire- 9A) and October 22nd (Team Ice- 9C). The price is $25; registration closes on October 4th.
This Friday, the 9th grade attended it first Tour of the 20th Century Event: Turn of the Century - The Barbershop Quartet. The Tour of the 20th Century is a Holicong tradition and we are excited to see students get involved throughout the year!
8th GRADE UPDATES
- Field trip to Shadybrook Farms on October 2 - Please remember to register in MyPayments Plus to make sure you can attend the trip. Please see Mrs. Bannon or Mrs. Schmitt if you need help!
- Students will need to pack a lunch for the trip
7th GRADE UPDATES
FINAL TECH FEE REMINDER
Device Usage Fees Due by October 30
It has been a great start to the school year with our student device distribution! All students will receive or continue using their assigned device. Before receiving a device, families in grades 3-6, 7, and 10, as well as new students, must complete the online user agreement and pay the usage fee. The elementary student fee is $15/year, while the fee for students in grades 7 and 10 is $60, which covers three years. Prorated fees apply for new secondary students. Reminder: 1-12 Early Dismissal on 9/30, School Closed on 10/3
To remind district families, all schools will dismiss early on Monday, Sept. 30 to allow the district to offer professional development to faculty. High school early dismissal time is 10:40 a.m.; middle school is 10:45 a.m.; elementary "A" schools is 11:55 a.m.; elementary "B" schools is 12:10 p.m.; and elementary "C" schools is 12:25 p.m. School will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 3 for Rosh Hashanah. District offices are open.
Dates for Homework and Summative Tasks Near Observances
In past years, the district has notified faculty in the week or weeks prior to religious or cultural observances to ensure they are cognizant of these events when assigning schoolwork. This year, the district has shared a year-long calendar of these observances with faculty and set guidelines on when no homework or summative tasks should be due.
