Week 4 π
I want to thank all of the families who came to our Curriculum Nights and Ice Cream Social Events this past week! We appreciate your participation in these events and wholeheartedly believe that they will have a major impact on your child's success this school year. For those parents that missed this event, I did include our presentation slide regarding ways you can help your child succeed this year. (It is down below this.)
Please make sure you check out the "Upcoming Events" section. I included the September calendar this week. We have a few major events taking place in September so I wanted to give you head start in planning for these.
I am also looking for 3 parents to serve on our Site Based Management Team this year. You will find more information regarding what this is and how to sign up below. π

Site Based Management Team - Parents Needed π¨
Attention Rose Lane Families,
We are looking for 3 parents to serve on our Site Based Management Team this year.
If you are interested in being a part of our Site Based Management Team at Rose Lane Elementary School then follow the link below to sign up. This committee was formally called "Site Council". If you participated last year, you are still welcome to sign up for this year's committee.
The purpose of the Site Based Management Team is to determine how Rose Lane spends our Tax Credit funds, and Activity Fee funds. We will have open discussion about field trips, after school clubs, and other opportunities for our students.
Our meetings will be held once a month. We will be meeting the 3rd Thursday of every month. Our first meeting will be held on Thursday, September 19th from 3:00 - 3:45. All meetings will be VIRTUAL. We will be sending out a Google Meet calendar invite to any participants.

Save The Date - Performances π
School Hours β°
- 7:15 AM - School Office Doors and Campus Gates open for students.
- 7:15 to 7:40 AM- Our playgrounds will be available for use by students in the morning at designated locations related to their grade level.
- 7:40 AM - First bell, all students enter their classrooms.
- 7:45 AM - Instruction begins. Students who arrive at or after 7:45 are recorded as tardy, and will need to report to the attendance office for a tardy slip.
- 10:50 AM -12:50 PM - Lunch at grade level assigned times. Students eat lunch for 20 minutes, then report to a designated location on the playground for supervised recess.
- 2:30 PM - All Students Kindergarten through 4th grade dismissed per Rose Lane dismissal procedure.
π©If your child is here for more than 15 minutes past dismissal time, attempts will be made to contact parents, guardians, or emergency contacts provided by you on your childβs emergency card. If these attempts are unsuccessful, the police will be contacted. Parents will be required to meet with an administrator after 5 late pick-ups.
