Happy Holidays
Coldwater High School Families,
As the holiday season approaches, we want to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a joyous and restful time. This is a season for connection, reflection, and rejuvenation, and we hope it brings you opportunities to spend quality moments with family and friends.
We also want to acknowledge and extend warm wishes to our families who may not be celebrating during this time. We hope this season offers everyone, regardless of their traditions, a time of peace and respite.
Thank you for being such an integral part of the Coldwater High School community. We are grateful for your partnership in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for our students.
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year!
With warm regards on behalf of everyone at Coldwater High School,
Bryan Shirk, Steve Hope and Todd Farmer
Scholarship Opportunities
Each year, Coldwater High School seniors have the opportunity to apply for numerous local scholarships. These scholarships are offered through a variety of generous donors ranging from local families, to local community service organizations, to longtime funds established to be awarded to current Coldwater High School seniors.
Starting each December, CHS seniors are able to begin the scholarship application process. This process has two parts - completing an online application through the Branch County Community Foundation and also completing a separate online Coldwater High School scholarship application. In addition, if your senior also attends the Branch Area Careers Center (BACC), there is an additional online scholarship application for scholarships specific to BACC students.
All Branch County Community Foundation, CHS Local, and Branch Area Careers Center scholarships will be made available and will tentatively open to students on December 16, 2024. The tentative due date for applying will be the 1st Friday in March, March 7, 2025.
CHS seniors will be given instructions on the application process on Wednesday, December 18th. A parent meeting will be made available for those parents wishing to learn about the process for applying to local scholarships on Wednesday evening, December 18 at 6:00 in the CHS library.
