7th Grade Whippur of the Week: Zayden Ebuna!
Zayden has been working very hard in class and has become a role model for others. He participates, completes work, and has created a good organizational system!
8th Grade Whippur of the Week: Nathan Pupillo!
Nathan is always willing to help his peers! He is respectful and kind to students and staff at HMS!
8th Grade High School Visit
Our 8th Grade students will be visiting Hampshire High School next Thursday, January 16th! During this trip, the high school staff and students will be providing information about the high school transition and a tour of the building. This is the first of many exciting opportunities for our students to gather information and comfortability with their big move to high school!
We will leave directly from HMS in the morning and will return for the afternoon. Students will have an opportunity to purchase/bring their lunch and eat when we return from the high school.

8th Grade Pizza Celebration
Our entire building did a FANTASTIC job on their Winter iReady tests in December! Our 8th Grade team in particular brought an amazing effort and won our grade level pizza challenge. On Friday, January 24th, all 8th grade students will receive a free pizza lunch during their lunch period based on their high level of growth in Reading and Math!
We are very proud of the hard work our students put in and can't wait to see how all grade levels compete with each other on the Spring test for more fun incentives!
January Family Night!
Math and Science Family STEM night is Monday, February 3rd from 6 - 7:30 PM in the cafeteria. We will have Inventor's Lab from Genoa presenting STEM activities for the night. Ice Cream Treats will be served to all who attend. Please complete the Google form so we can plan appropriately for our family night. RSVPs are due Wednesday, January 29th.
