First Day Drop-Off
See last week's Primary Press for more information, but this is a reminder that families need to say first-day goodbyes at home before your child gets on the bus, in the car before they get out at drop-off, or at the school entrance if you walk your child up. For many reasons, we do not have an open-door policy at our school on the first day (or any day). Thank you for your understanding with this important procedure that ensures student safety and allows students and teachers to get their day going quickly.
Remember: Quick Goodbyes Mean More Dry Eyes!
Thank you to our PTO for the Ice Cream!
Thank you to the PTO for providing the funds that are used to purchase ice cream at our Family Welcome-Back night. It is a great tradition for this event, and we appreciate all of the support that our EC-8 PTO provides.
Snack Donation Request
We are currently seeking snack donations, which we keep on hand to provide to those who may not otherwise have the means to bring one in. We can only accept donations that are peanut/tree-nut free. Specifically, we are looking for individually wrapped items such as:
Goldfish
Pirates Booty
Applesauce pouches
Popcorn
Scooby Snacks
Cheez-It Crackers
Pretzels
Donations can be dropped off at the main office for Ms. Keri. We greatly appreciate the generosity and support from our families. Thank you!

Progressive Behavior Response Plan
This plan is a tool designed to offer consistency across the district so that responses to student behavior reflect best practices and are provided equitably from school to school when student behavior requires a corrective, restorative, and/or instructional response or consequence. Through this plan we will maintain a safe and positive learning environment that fosters student belonging, positive and trusting relationships, and student growth. The goal of the plan is to provide staff, students and adults a clear framework that includes our beliefs, expectations, and commitments for responding to student behavior. The full plan can now be found on our website.
