Create a PaySchools Account

PaySchools has improved its platform to provide a system that is more consistently reliable and user friendly. The end result for parents will be that the information they need will be personalized for their child.

Families who do not have a PaySchools account should create one using the following directions. Once created, product choices that directly relate to your child will be provided.

• Create an account from your computer or tablet at: www.payschoolscentral.com
• Complete the account registration by selecting register, enter your profile details, setting up your password via the email link that will be sent to you, then logging in.
• Add your children to your account using their student ID numbers. ID numbers are found on their report card available through PowerSchool.
• If you like, enter credit card and/or banking information as forms of payments to use with your PaySchools account.

• When a student is going to be absent, parents/guardians should report the absence before the school day begins. Calls to the attendance line can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Shelby Attendance Line is 586-797-3799. Absences will be input to PowerSchool by 4:00 pm on the date of the absence.

• Per UCS policy, the following reasons for an absence will be accepted as an excused absence; student illness, hospitalization, doctor ordered bed rest, mandatory court appearance that has been pre-arranged, death in the immediate family, family vacation that has been pre-arranged and approved, medical appointments and administrative permission. All other absences will be unexcused.

• Pre-approved absence forms can be obtained in the counseling office, the main office or in Schoology.
