✅ Highlight outstanding CTE programs in Oregon.
✅ Celebrate student and educator successes!
💡 Share Your CTE Stories!
Help spread the word by submitting success stories for the Oregon Department of Education to feature on social media. Use #ThisIsCTE when posting on X (formerly Twitter) to showcase what’s happening in your programs!
Submit Your Story to ODE Here and ODE will push out your celebrations throughout the school year.
CTE Graduation Success
📈 Clackamas County’s CTE Concentrator Graduation Rate Increased!
The graduation rate for Clackamas County students completing two or more CTE credits rose from 96.42% to 97.03% for the Class of 2023. Thank you for inspiring students through hands-on, career-focused learning that keeps them engaged and prepared for the future. Your work makes a lasting impact on both students and their families.
📌 New 90% Reports
Updated reports are now available in the Achievement Data Insight application inside the ODE District Website. If you would like information on your program's student achievement data, feel free to reach out to me at bblevins@clackesd.k12.or.us
Funding Updates
Federal Government Spending Freeze
The Oregon Department of Education is analyzing the impact of the recent executive order from President Trump to freeze spending on federal grants. For now, the message from ODE is: "Stay the course."
State Grant Funds
Your Career Pathways Grant funds (50 of our CTE programs received these grant funds) are from the state of Oregon, so a federal spending freeze will not affect that particular grant. Remember, your funds must be spent and and items delivered by June 30, 2025 or the funds revert back to the state.
Clackamas Connect Career Hub
We are excited to introduce the Clackamas Connect Career Hub. This new secure website will be a powerful database linking schools with industry partners who are eager to support CTE programs. Employers are available for:
✅ Guest Speaking
✅ Company Tours
✅ Job Shadows
✅ Short-Term Internships

This database is is not open to the public and requires a log-in. Your building's CTE administrator has been given an account and many of our college and career counselors have as well. if you would like an account, please request one through the sign-up sheet.
