Director's Corner
Dear ECDC Families,
February went by very quickly with lots of fun activities. We enjoyed our weekly chapel lessons with the theme “Wheels on the Bus” and learned all about how Jesus loves everyone. We celebrated Valentine’s Day with beautiful art work in the hallways, Valentine exchanges and classroom celebrations. Also, we had a great Scholastic Book Fair. I hope you found some great books for your family and a big THANK YOU to everyone who purchased books for the classrooms. Books are such a great gift for everyone in the classroom, teachers and students.
There are more exciting things happening in March. On Wednesday, March 5th we will have an Ash Wednesday Chapel for the kids. Pastor Carl, with Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Paige, have put together a kid friendly chapel for this day and we will optionally offer the kids ashes on their hands. Our chapel theme this month is “Watch this!” with lessons about how Jesus can do anything. Our bible verse this month is “Love each other in the same way I have loved you.” -John 15:12
I hope each of your families enjoy a wonderful Spring Break. The ECDC school and offices will be closed March 10-14. We look forward to welcoming you all back the following week as we continue to move through the season of Lent and the kids learn about Easter, as we wait until April to celebrate.
Blessings,
Ms. Katie

Go Texan Day
We celebrated our great Texan heritage with Go Texan Day at school! This annual event is all about embracing our roots, showcasing our culture, and having a whole lot of fun while we’re at it. Students and teachers alike wore their best western wear, such as cowboy hats, boots, and plaid shirts! We embraced the spirit of Texas. Go Texan Day brings us all together to make unforgettable memories.🤠
ECDC Staff Birthdays
