We kick off our busy stretch with a normal Wednesday evening rehearsal! This is our third one. The band will report to the twin turf outside of DHS for rehearsal beginning at 7:00 PM, ending at 9:30 PM.

Reminder to students: for game day rehearsals, you must be wearing your uniform PANTS, SHOES, HATS/PLUMES, and a WHITE t-shirt. You may put on your jacket/spats/gloves in between the rehearsal + game.

This is an OPTIONAL but highly encouraged Pep Band event! Dexter Community Schools administration has asked the band to play for this special event honoring DHS alum, Abby Tamer. Ms. Tamer competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics for Team USA.

Students should arrive to the DHS Band Room by 6:00 PM for a brief music rehearsal before walking over to Al Ritt Stadium as a group. Uniform will be 2024 Band Camp show shirts + general Dexter apparel. We will not march, but students will play a selection of stands music, music from our 2024 Dance halftime show, possible selections from Pregame music, and possibly Salute to America's Finest (parts linked here).

The field hockey game begins at 7:00 PM, and they typically last just over an hour. We expect students to be finished by or before 8:30 PM!

Students will meet at Dexter High School for a rehearsal on the Twin Turf at 4:00 PM. Full uniform, same requirements as for Home Football Games. Students will load buses and drive to Chelsea HS prior to the event, and will also load buses to drive back to DHS after the event ends. ALL STUDENTS MUST RIDE THE BUSSES HOME. Pickup at DHS is estimated around 9:20 PM - students and directors will keep families posted.
