Hello, Curington Families!

Welcome to a new week. It is the last week of school, and it has been a fantastic year of teaching and learning. As I finish completing my first year at CES, I am very grateful to be at a campus with a wonderful campus community that wants the best for all students! Thank you to all of our Curington families for your involvement, support, and attentiveness in staying connected with us this school year.

We would like to remind all of our families that our end-of-year ceremonies and parties will take place this upcoming week. Our May calendar, with dates and times, is below. Please contact your child's teacher for any additional questions about these days. We look forward to celebrating our students' achievements!

Please assist us in having your child finish strong this week with attendance. Our teachers have planned end-of-year fun lessons as we complete the 23-24 school year. Thank you for your support!

Lastly, we would like to congratulate Ms. Tinder on her retirement from CES this year. We thank her for her years of service in the education field and for making a difference in the lives of kids! Enjoy your very well-deserved retirement, Ms. Tinder!

Parents, please do not forget to pick up all medication for your child that has been with the nurse this school year. This includes inhalers, Epi pens, Tylenol, Advil, or any daily medications. It must be picked up by 11:30am on Thursday, May 23rd (last day of school). All remaining medication, whether nonprescription or prescription, will be discarded or destroyed. The remaining medication will not be stored for the following school year. Thank you for your cooperation!

Curington PTO has once again teamed up with EPI to offer teacher approved school supply packs for purchase for our students for the 2024 – 2025 school year! (Link below)

If you’re new to Curington or have never done this before, it’s easy.

Once you enter your child’s school code (CUR023), name, and their 2024 – 2025 school grade, EPI does the school supply shopping for you and will have everything delivered to your child’s classroom before the 1st day of school! You save all the gas and time going from store to store on your own to find the best deals.

The Box Tops app gives participants the ability to earn for their school. One Product = 10 cents back to our school!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Buy participating products and use the Box Tops app to scan your store receipt. The app identifies eligible products and earnings are credited to your designated school online. Even if you’re shopping online or doing grocery pickup, you can still submit your digital or email receipt with the Box Tops app and earn. Twice a year, our school gets a check!

7:00 a.m.- Cafeteria Doors Open for Breakfast (All students will enter through our cafeteria doors between 7:00-7:33 a.m. After 7:33 a.m., students will enter the school through the front office.

7:30 a.m.- Students begin to enter their classrooms

3:00 p.m.- Dismissal
